no dash lights after replacing headlamp switch

I have a 94 viper and my dash lights went out and I have tried three new Headlamp switches and they all act the same way. The headlights come on and the interior light works but the dash lights, running lights, and tailights do not work.I can get everything working but the headlights if I pull the headlight knob out slowly and it is between the parking light and headlight notch and then move the knob back and forth and side to side.Fuses checked out okay no bare wires that I can see.I am stumped. Any ideas? Is there a relay switch somewhere I should be looking for?

Did you remener to plug in the ground? It's a seperate terminal by itself. It's easy to miss.

The ground on the switch is hooked up.I even checked the ground to the dash lights and all seem to be tight.
