NOPI Nationals return to Atlanta in 2012!

As many of you know (and have seen the bikini contest pics lol), the GA-VCA participated in the NOPI Nationals carshow for several years. Each year different Viper owners took home several trophies (carshow awards, dyno competition wins, etc). Sadly, the economy claimed the NOPI show as a victim a couple years ago. I am happy to let everyone know that NOPI is officially returning this year to the racetrack in Commerce, GA! The dates are Sept. 22-23, so if anyone wanted to come down south a little early for VOI, this promises to be a great event! The owner of NOPI has already called me and asked us to attend again and offered whatever we needed. Registration won't be open for a couple months and they are still working out details of the drag racing and other events they'll be hosting, so stay tuned for updates!

For those who think Nopi is imports only, that has changed over the years. At the last big show, it was prob a 50/50 split of imports/domestics and over 110k people attended that weekend!

I've had several guys express interest in going already. Hopefully we can have a huge Viper turnout! NOPI really treats us like kings. Them returning is bigger news than when man landed on the moon

Every year since 05' when I bought it. I'm 2 for 2 on winning the dyno in the V8+ NA class. The winner in the V8+ FI class last time was a red Roe Gen 1....owned by a blonde chick

btw, Injected Engineering in Kennesaw is having a Dyno competition on 3/21. N/A and FI classes.
$50 entry and cash prizes based on the amount of entrants.

IIRC, it was 413RWHP/480RWTQ. Doubt I'll make the Kennesaw thing. Thats on a Wednesday and I'm in no hurry to get back on a dyno. Haven't done anything to the car to have any changes I need to measure.

If you won at 413, then you better hope I end up drunk again on 9/21 and in Miami on 9/22 or you"ll be 2 for 3!

At least you have the fact that she will be gone on your side by then. The question is if she's stationed out of Miami or not.
