This came to me from a fellow Viper Club member who raved about a guy in Fremont who did some paint work on his Viper and he was ecstatic about the job done.

My front air dam had the usual scrapes and I had intended to get it repainted for some time but never got around to it. About a month ago I was on 680 north in Walnut Creek and a huge piece of folded up carpet flew off a truck in front me and struck the front of my 2000 Steel Grey GTS w/Stripes. Fortunately it did not do any structural damage but it messed up the paint pretty good on the front end and down the right side. The insurance company sent me to a body shop to get an estimate which I knew would be a disaster but I had to play their game. After getting the estimate I called Julio Virrueta @ 510-557-0747 to see what he could do (this is his cell number). Julio is the paint shop foreman at Advantage Auto Body in Fremont and the owner lets him do side work there nights and weekends to keep him happy. Julio also worked at a Dodge dealer in their body shop for 8 or 9 years so knows Vipers very well.

To cut to the chase, Julio worked on my car over the Memorial Day Weekend and did a superb job. He painted the entire front end, both rocker panels and rubbed out the rear valence for less than the insurance estimate for just painting the front end. The color match is perfect, he did 5 spray outs and remixes to get it right, and his workmanship is subperb. He is also an all around nice person and great family guy. Ask him to show you the irredescent metal flake flames he painted on the hood of his own truck. Not my bag but a work of art none the less. You cannot even tell they are painted on. I hope this helps some of my fellow Viper owners as I would not have had any idea where to turn if a fellow Viper Owner had not steered me in the right direction. Thank you to Doug Drummer for the referral.
