not very loud

Made a custom exhaust from headers,
Took out cats+ res, replaced with hi flow random teck cats.
And power effects mufflers in back of car.
Even with the mufflers open wide not very loud.
Do the knobs on the mufflers go to back thats the way
makes sense to me.got them from parts rack,great service!
May be john b got the answer?

the knobs go towards the back of the car....I would just run a straight pipe from the headers back to the PE mufflers....mine is too loud unless I crank it down one click...it is all personal taste, but I am really happy with mine....JonB was very helpful as well...besides...once you take out the cats your side sills will be MUCH cooler...
