I just purchased a OEM hard top for my 2000 RT/10 and was wondering
how much higher it sits than a soft top.

Inside or outside??? Outside is about the same I think, inside seems to have better headroom though.

I only have a couple of inches at the top of my lift so I'm concerned with
the outside.

How tall is the ceiling in your garage? Are you worried about the garage door hitting the the hard top? I know with my '08 I have to back it in to get the same clearance I have with just pulling in onto the lift with my '01 RT/10. I have almost a 10 ft. ceiling in my garage.

When my car is on the lift the soft top is about 4" from the ceiling. I concerned with the hardtop being higher. To reach my final stop I have to go a little higher than let it down. I can still use a lower height but then my head doesn't clear the ramps.

Agreed, just bought an OEM hardtop for my RT and it is the "double-bubble" style so its sits a bit hight than the softtop.

Agree though, it is not 4" higher, maybe an inch to 2" at most. I thought the softtop sat kind of high anyway.

:D
