Official I-81 Route to Tator\'s BBQ Thread!! Don\'t Get Left Behind!

Hello, as everyone traveling on I-81 to Tator's knows I will be getting picked up in Hazleton. ACELLR8 posted over in the other topic, but I think this one will get everyone situated. I will make a change to this top post when I am notified of another change in the schedule or people going with us. So far it is as follows. Also, if you know your exit number, please post it to make life easier. And if you want to provide your phone number, I will post it after your name. Thanks. BTW, I fine tuned the times being I live closer and I believe them to be a more precise time.

Harrisburg (Rest Area on I81 in Grantville at 6:30am)

sounds great! you guys are gonna have the best cruise up to tators. i wish our drive was 3 hours or more. now if we could get you guys to hook up with the NJ and NY vipers that would ever be better

. any ideas???

sounds great! you guys are gonna have the best cruise up to tators. i wish our drive was 3 hours or more. now if we could get you guys to hook up with the NJ and NY vipers that would ever be better . any ideas???

Hey Dimitrios! ..is that possible that we could hook up somewhere? That would be Awesome! Our route is 84 east to 684 south to rt 35. :2tu:

The NY group goes north on 684 to exit 6 (rte. 35 east). Everyone could meet at the exit, but that leaves only about 10 miles to Chucks.

After the exit (southbound cars will make left at first light over 684 and then straight at second light - northbound cars will just make first right after exit) there is a 1/2 mile straight till you get the next traffic light. There is a reasonable shoulder on the right side of rte 35 immediately after the exit where everyone can hangout. Should be enough room for about 50+ cars.

I am in for sat or sun. just checked the weather and here it is

Saturday: Windy and overcast with showers. High near 55F. Winds NNE at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of rain 50%.

my car is ready, but I will not drive 4 hrs in the rain. Ed and his wife will not be going either. This will be the first one I missed in 4 yrs
