I believe there are services out there that do this but looking for some input on interest. I'm equipped to do a simple viscosity check as well as possibly volatiles. These two go hand in hand as oil breaks down over time as well as gas vapors blowing into the crankcase. It would be a running history of the oil and could be used to decide on oil changes as well as alert if the oil is getting cut with gas. I an do this with very little oil, possibly just a couple of grams. I haven't looked at my running costs, but what is the consensus for a simple viscosity in the $5 range? Not sure about the volatiles either, but that could be $15-25 (it's a much more involved analysis). If there's interest I'll begin testing on my Paxton'ed '06 and post the numbers over time.
