This is on a 2001 GTS ACR if it matters.
Yesterday we were putting the passenger window down and about the 1/2 way mark a squealing noise started.
Go to put the window up and the squeal is heard until the 1/2 way mark and it stops.
We were able to repeat the process 3 or 4 more times.
Is something getting ready to stop working?
Or do we just need to put some grease on the window track?
Thanks
Ray

I'd say something about lube, but I think Dave would have a field day with that too...

Plan A Take off the inner door, clean the track that the shuttle that slides up and down on. Use some silicone based lubricant or white lithium grease. also put a bit of fresh lube on the cables. With the door panel off try running the window up and down and you may get a better idea of where exactly the squeak is coming from :)

Plan B Turn the stereo up when using window switch :D

I went ahead and greased the tracks and put the panel back on. No more squeal at this time.
