I could not figure out why the engineers design the overflow tank to vent directly in front of the tires as opposed to mid car so car does not drive thru it.

NO KIDDING!!! The day I punctured the bottle on the track, it vented all over the passenger brakes. As soon as I braked it felt like I locked up one wheel and almost lost control!!!!!!!!!
