I am interested in seeing some pictures of the black cowl piece painted to match the body on a non-black/saphire car. And while we are at it, anyone paint their door/sill threshold pieces to match the body?

Does look pretty cool...I assume it would be a hell of alot easier than painting and removing any other piece of the car.

A painted cowl is well worth the effort. It finishes off the body. When we were doing the one for my red and white gts my friend and also my painter thought it was a lot of work for such a little piece and that it would not make that much difference he was really surprised you'll never ever put the black one back on. I highly recommend this mod.

I wish I wouldn't have seen that... now I'm starting to wonder if I should do it too!

PhoenixGTS, It definitely finishes off the exterior of the car and it is very easy to remove. I say,"Go 4 IT!".
