It's that time of year again!

The NJ VCA's Annual Pocono Track Day

Thursday August 16, 2007
Pocono Raceway
Long Pond, PA

This event is intended for all levels of driver. This is not a race, but a driving event. You will be able to take your snake out on the famous Pocono Raceway and let her rip

We welcome non Vipers as well, so if you have a friend with a Vette, Porsche, Ferrari etc tell them about the event and bring them with you.

Lunch will be at the Nascar rated best Brownies.... Pocono Raceway Cafeteria or you can bring your own lunch.
No grilling will be allowed.

Joe Moore's team will be on hand running the track Safety first, fun second!


You must have a SA 2000 rating on your Helmet!
No Motorcycle Helmets Please

All cars will be teched by Scotty

Classroom instruction for all first timers


Fitwell Racing will also be on hand for autographs and photos

I think it pretty sad when we have an event INSIDE PENNSYLVANIA (which is arranged by a club OUTSIDE PA) and NOBODY from the local PA club participates.... Not even as a spectator...

How does our club think or expects others to participate in PA club events, if our own participation level is this pathetic... I think it is worth while thinking...

I am originally from Wilkes-Barre Pa. I am living in Germany now. I may be back visiting during August but I won't have my rt/10 with me. Red you sound like a nice guy. Would you loan me your Viper for an hours on-track time?
I won't break it, I promise.
Ask the Swiss guys if I am a carefull driver. It's ok, I don't mind.
Then we can shame the Pa. club a little. "Hell, you guys are slackers. We even had a Swiss VCA member at the Pocono event! Where were you, Pa members?!".

I did it 3 years... Not fun, but better than staying home.
Driving was much more rewarding....

I'm interested I drive a portion of the track each year usually. I actually test drove the 08 viper in 07 with impa there. Which portion is being reserved?
