Hello Viper community,
I have been watching the site for years and the time has finally come to become an infected individual! I found a car that I am looking to possibly purchase this weekend, and am wondering if there is anyone close to give it a look over? The car is located in Reading, PA. Since I am located in Nebraska, it wont be exactly easy to take a look. If anyone would be willing to take a look at the car for me it would be a great help and very appreciated! Please PM me if you are able to help.

P.S.- After years of lurking and knowing this day would come, I can't believe IT IS TIME!!! I would also like to thank the Viper community for all of the information I've learned and all of the entertainment you all have provided up to this point. I can't wait to be an official part of the community.

Thanks,
Clarence

May want to check Woodhouse, they are in your backyard depending on what part of Neb. you are in. If they don't have what you want I am sure that Mark or Bill could get it for you.

Good luck with the check. Hopefully someone from the PA will see this and get back to you. Otherwise, shoot them an email from their site and try and get some help (http://www.pawvviperclub.org). If this car looks like it could be "THE ONE" I hope you haven't ruled out taking a trip down there in person to see it/make the buy? Nothing can ever beat your first in-person Viper trip. Good luck! I also posted a new-owner Viper checklist. Check it out if you need some help with things to look for when you buy.

DrTaco-
Thanks for the info. I have a printed out copy of the checklist that I am taking with me. Contact with the WV/PA region has been great and all are so willing to help! I have a Viper Tech going out to inspect the car prior to me going out to look/purchase the car. After so many years of research and lurking/learning...it's hard to think that it's a week away from possibly happening, if all things check out!

I didn't give any background, although this will be my first Viper, I have logged a decent amount of hours behind the wheel of each of the first four gen's of Viper. My love for the car is only equaled by the amount of respect I have for the car!

Anyway, before I blab on and on (which is easy for me to do about the Viper)....Thank you to all, whether you have directly or indirectly helped, all of you have had a hand in this process. So please, be proud of the community you have created and are a part of! Reading the forum and watching videos and looking at pics has made the long wait of purchasing, fly by and has filled countless hours! Most of which I have pestered the wife for some sort of participation!

Thanks again,
Clarence
