I was up at CAAP (where they build them) and there were several 2005 SRT-10's in the shipping room. All had a price of $85,295.00 My guess is either he is looking at one without the gas guzzler tax ($3000) or is talking about a deal they can get individually. The car was indeed priced at $81,495 in 2004 - without the mandatory $3000 gas guzzler tax. The car went UP in price, not down. Rest assured this is correct, as I have a 2005 in the wings...

Actually, the Mamba's (White) listed for 87,295 with Gas Guzzler included. In the Miami, Ft.Lauderdale area most dealers were asking 94,000. I could not get one at list here with a cash offer. I had to go one hundred miles North to get get one below list. The Mamba's in this area command higher prices although I note that the blacks are not moving as fast. Two dealers near me are still asking over 90 thous for the black ones. I believe its a function of where you are (location) and demand.
