Private SoCal Dragstrip rental - Fontana CA, Sept 17th

Several of us SoCal Viper guys are renting the Fontana Dragstrip on
September 17th (Friday) and would like to extend the invitation to all you
folks willing to come out to SoCal for some drag racing. This is a
PRIVATE DRAG EVENT, PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED as this will be limited
to only 55-70 entrants. Each racer should get at least a dozen runs in (if not more), compaired to only about three on those crowded Street Legal Drags day.

Signup has just opened. But we will need a minimum of 55 entrants or else it won't happen. This will be open to all sports cars and even fast street bikes. Help spread the word. Hope you can join us!!!

Also, did you confirm with tech official about the new NHRA "Pure Stock" class if it's now in effect? If so, it would be great for the roadster/convertible (RT/10 & SRT-10) racers no longer bound by the "13.99 rollbar" rule.

Hi Warren - I've been told by California Speedway/Dragway official that the new "Pure Stock" rule will apply. It's great news for everybody, especially for the roadster/convertible owners.
