Hello,

What should the oil pressure gauge read at idle for Gen III with Paxton? I see maybe 30psi and then about 70PSI under acceleration, is that normal?

Thanks

thats perfect

Does the Paxton really lower the engine oil pressure that much? My '03 never drops under 40 psi, even when the oil is really warm after a session of hot laps (in hot Texas). It also pegs the 80psi gauge at WOT at anything above 3500rpm. I run the updated Viper white Mopar oil filter and 0w40.

your lower bearings on the mains may b a slight more worn than the 03- the pax takes a little more toll on the motor

03-04 have different main bearings and oil pressure than 2005-2006. 03's have different gauges than 04-06. You have normal pressure for an 05-06 car, abnormal for an 03-04. [Assuming an engine that has not been altered from OEM internally]

345's my 03' does exactly what yours does. Pegs 80 from the start and when fully heated falls a bit.
