question about gen II front fascia

i've done a search for this already and couldn't find anything. will a gen II front fascia fit on a gen I car. i'm thinking about molding the gen II scoop and vents into my gen I hood, but would also like the look of the gen II front fascia. anyone performed this?

yes, its been done before, but names are escaping me at the moment.. but yes, its possibly, and it looks great.. i'm also unsure as to what modifications might need to be performed for proper fitment.. also, in case you're also wondering, a gen II hood will fit on a gen I..
