I am putting on my new EBC's but they have a wire comming out of one side???
Wear indicator? Do I cut it? Which side does the wire side go on? No matter?

Changing now, help!

Cut the wire off. It is used when these pads are used on a different vehicle. I think that the pads are identical, in other respects, and it doesn't matter whether which one is inner or outer.

Thanks, I cut and installed. They are or look identical, I sure hope I get 80% less dust. I spent more time cleaning the rims than changing the pads.. Easy to change, but the Viper pads are small, tiny comparied to other cars I've owned?

Thanks again Jim, Scott

Please let us know your impressions about differences in dust and stopping power, and what kind of driving you were checking them out with. I've gathered fromsome posts that both the Red and Green EBC brake pads have changed formulations in the past year or so.
