Really need help - anyone replaced their dash? GEN 1

I was hoping someone could help...i am in the middle of replacing my Dash for my 95 GEN 1.....HOW DO YOU GET THE LIGHT SWITCH OUT? I have everything apart....i know there is supposed to be an easy way to get the switch out...someone, please help me...

I think you need to press a button on the switch body (on the inside side of the dash) while you pull out the knob assy.

"Yes, you have to put your hand up under your dash right behind your headlight knob. You'll feel the mechanism that makes the headlight system work, and the button is right on top of it-just push it down and pull out the knob at the same time."
