rear speakers stopped working

my 00 gts rears quit working....does this happen frequently by a short or should i take it in to the dodge dearlership and try to have it fixed under warranty...

The stock system ***** anyway. Get a custom system installed.

You may want to eventually get an aftermarket system, but in the meantime have the dealer fix it under warranty. Usually it is the wiring, unfortunately the wiring and harnesses are not always great in these cars. If you have the dealer fix it the tech might find some other wiring issues at the same time and fix them. Talk to them about it when you have it done.

I replaced my stock speakers in my 99 with Infinity's, left the rest as is. Made a huge difference in sound. Completely happy with the output and sound.
