I recently purchased a Red with Black interior 2000 RT/10 with 10,400 miles from Bill Pemperton at Woodhouse.
I want to tell you about my recent experience.

Here are some reasons not to do business with Bill Pemperton at
Woodhouse.

Q: He said car would be in very good condition .. false
A: The car was in great condition. Like new. With no scratches or dings
anywhere. Tires are like new. He was upfront with the condition of the
car.

Q: Bill Pemperton is not a good salesperson
A: The reason is that he is honest. Ever meet an honest salesperson?
He's a great salesperson. He was upfront and straight forward on pricing.
No games no hassles.

Q: Car was not delivered on time.
A: It actually arrived a day early. Oh yes! .. one more day for me to
enjoy the car.

Q: He said he was very picky about going over the car and only
reselling good ones.
A: The man is extremely picky, almost crazy. He disclosed the full
history of the car to me. And had his Viper tech go over the car front to
back.

Q: Bill said he could get me good financing .. false
A: I checked with my bank, 2 other banks and Costco. He matched them by
.25% and gave me a longer term which reduced my monthly. I can't
believe my bank who I have been doing business with for 5 years did not give
me a better deal than Woodhouse.

Q: Bill said he had very good references.
A: Not True. Bill and Woodhouse have excellent references. For two
years, I have checked with other VCA members who purchased from Bill and
Woodhouse. Noone had any negative comments. Everyone has great
experiences before and many years after the sale.Nothing but 5 stars for this
guy.

Q: Bill said an extended warranty is a good idea to protect your
investment....false
A: The Chrysler Extended warranty is a great investment. For a small
amount over the 5 year loan, you get a 5 year bumper to bumper warranty
with only a $200 deductable. I highly recommend it.

So if you are looking for a Viper or any Dodge product from Neon,
Durango, or Ram, contact Bill at Woodhouse. Woodhouse is a great VCA sponser
and we should be proud to have a vendor like him who has been with the
VCA for so long and on good standing for so many years. Other vendors
have come and gone. But Woodhouse has been here a very very long time.

In conclusion, not all car dealers are bad. Some like Woodhouse really
care what others think of them. They don't want to make a quick and
fast buck. They want to make long term repeat clients. Please if you have
to do business or you need to buy something, do business with vendors
who support the VCA.

And you thought I was going to say something bad about Bill and
Woodhouse.

... hehehehe

Right now, I am enjoying the car. I will post pictures later this week.
Then its off Dan Cragin at DCPerformance in Los Angeles, Ca to get a checkup. (And maybe a few upgrades)

Take care all,
Usman "UZY" Malik

Bought my Viper from Bill, had some minor mods done this past month at Woodhouse.

I would recommend Woodhouse for anything. Definately worth the trip (or shipping service). A little honesty and integrity goes a looong way with me.

:2tu: I had to read the first few lines a few times because I thought you were going to rip him a new... ( 0 ) <--A hole LOL. Glad to hear you had a good experience. I talked to a guy at Woodhouse last week and he was cool.

I'm flying up to Palmer Dodge in GA. to pick up my car on Monday (3/7/05). I hope my experience is a good one too.

Enjoy your car!

I too bought mine from Bill Pemberton at Woodhouse. He's the best. The easiest no-hassle car purchase I've ever made.

I've bought an '03 Cobra from Bill, returning it to him after finding out an '01 Viper with 146 miles was available. I wasnt even worried about the shape of the car because I knew Bill is honest and I had nothing to worry about. I was right. Just got the car back after having some issues with the Unichip piggy-back computer. Not to worry, Bill and Mark brought my car back on an empty trailer, fixed the problem, re-dynoed it and returned it to me free of charge.

Needless to say, I'm a happy camper and dedicated customer to Bill, Mark Jorgensen, and the whole Woodhouse team.

Bill is defenetly a great guy. If I end up importing a car from the states it will defenetly be through him. He suggested that I look in Canada first becuase of the warrenty issues (now who in the right mind loses a sale just to make a customer happy ;) ) Keep up the good work Bill!

Might want to spell his name right in the subject header as well after giving him the kudos.

Hahahaha ... oh no!!!! .. I did not notice that I spelled Bill's last name wrong ...hahaha ... LOL ..sorry Bill.

I blame tunnel vision due to driving the Viper at high speeds.

Vipermann1, congrats on your new purchase. You are in good hands. Both Bill Pemberton and Dan Cragin are good people who support the VCA. Bill handled the transaction of my raffle car and my next Chrysler/Dodge car will come from him. I have been at Dan's shop to have my car dyno and he has a very nice facility. His work on SC Vipers are beautiful and powerful.

Guys,

2 cents here, I really hate to see these kinds of posts, as some folks will not actually CLICK the link to see that you are actually giving him kudos. I have never been a huge fan of these, because the people that like the person being "bad mouthed", rush in to defend them, and find it was "a trick to get attention to the post".

A good example is I often ignore the Posts about someone being ********** about Jon B (in their title) because I know most of them are legitimate. I just hate for these "trick ones" to create a potential negative connotation to someone that’s non-deserving. Especially when someone doesn’t click to see its actually a good post, and they subconsciously are left a mark of someone being dissatisfied.

2 cents over.

2002Viper_GTS_ACR: I agree. I almost didn't click on this thread. I figured it was a bunch of flames. I figured since I already have my Viper, hell, I don't need to read about buying one, and figured "well, at least I didn't buy it there."

Good thing I clicked through...

You will NOT find a dealership with even 2% of Pembertons integrity or honesty in the Houston area. Glad you had a good experience.

I met Bob and Bill at Sebring during the Panoz racing school they sponsored a few weeks ago. I had my Viper at the hotel showing it off and when shutting the hood accidentally jammed it shut with it all torqued out of whack. I panicked as I could not get it open again. Bob Woodhouse had just checked in at the hotel and was very gracious as he left his luggage in the lobby and immediately came out and fixed the hood. Two great down-to-earth guys. I would definitely buy a car from them.
