Reminder: 16\"/17\" rear wheels and \'01+ cars

All,
I've seen a few recent posts where people were surprised to find that their CCW et. al. race wheels do not fit on a '01 or later Viper. The reason is simple -- the '01 cars have larger rear calipers (along with ABS) which, stock, will contact the inside of smaller wheels. The fix is also straightforward (remove rear caliper, machine down caliper where banjo bolt attaches, remove casting flash where caliper halves join, reattach), but needs to be done and tested in advance. Also, even with the caliper modified, you must ensure that your wheels' tape weights are on the outer or inner edge of the wheel, as there is insufficient clearance between caliper and wheel in the middle, and the caliper will rip the weights off the wheel if they are applied there.
