What is the best and easiest way?

I get my front fascia repaired next week.

YES, I tried the search button since I can remember that this has been discussed 1-2 years ago - but I can´t find it.

Use about a 20 pound test fishing line to work the glue loose starting from the top down. It took me 5 minutes using this method.

HOGDEALER,
The front and rear badges were taken off my car, but not with dental floss! With a key, they scratched the trunk and hood with the key to get it off !! I wish it was dental floss

Worked fine. Use of a blowdryer helps very much.

But, what is the "gray stuff" behind the badge?

First I thought it may be a double-sided adhesive tape?
Looks like silicone or something similar...
