I heard replacing the thermostat crossover gaskets could be done on a 95 without removing the intake manifold. I heard you could remove the windshield cowel and although it would be a pain, it is possible. Anyone done it?

Part numbers appear to be (2) 5245643 and (1) 5245231

-Need to drain radiator fluid, I can only assume so.
-Probably should go with 180 degree thermostat. What was Dodge thinking with the current one? Is there any benefit to the current one over a 180?

I did mine without any problems. I used a long socket extension, disconnected
the fuel line.

I've done my '94 that way. It's a little bit of a pain, but still less total effort than taking the manifold off. As Ratech said, practice with your female Torx sockets and various extensions before you plunge in; there was one bolt that was a little harder to see and get to.
