Looking at picking up a set of track rims and dont care about the cosmetic condition as long as they are structurally sound.

With Rim Damage / Curb Rash as showm below, does anyone think they could have new tires, hoosiers mounted? without any issues or is this a nightmare waiting to happen?

Don't do it, it's a nightmare waiting to happen. You might be able to get that rim straightened by a good alloy wheel repair shop -- it would be cheaper than a new wheel. Make sure it is a reputable one though.

Have the wheel checked when you have the tires mounted. There is a shop up here in Plantation that can do it. Plantation Auto 954.423.3300. If you call ask for Phill.

Can't tell from the photo if the damage is external and cosmetic or if it affects the bead/seal area of the rim. If the bead/seal area is ok or could be sanded/filed down you may be ok - all depends how good a deal you can get.
