Rough idle

My car has started to steadily idle worse and worse. At nearly 2k RPMs in 1st and 2nd my car will start to shake bad. I saw the guide to tighten the throttle cables, but are there any other parts or modifications to make the ride a little smoother at slower speeds. I hate to be on the clutch for so long when driving at slow speeds.

something tells me your rough idle and oil pressure postings are related...

Any valve train noise, clicking, tapping, while at idle?
Are you sure all 10 cylinders are working?

I'm thinking a lifter with some kind of big problem, might be causing poor oil pressure and idle problems.

Lifter stuck or broken, leaking oil, not opening a valve on one cylinder.
