He was asked to compare driving an Indy car to a NASCAR. He said driving an Indy car was like a VIPER. The NASCAR was like a Dodge Ram truck. He mentioned the Viper at least three times talking about its cornering ability, power, and responsiveness. :D

His major claim to fame is winning the 2006 Indy 500 by one of the slimmest margins ever. He is also a 3 time IRL Season Champion. He made the switch to NASCAR this year, driving for Penske Racing. :bolt:

Sam needs to stay with open wheel as does Franchitti, Carpentier, and Montoya. They all did well there but Nasty car is a whole different driveing style and they will NEVER compete well with the young guns of Nasty car. They are only there for the big money that open wheel does not offer. If you placed most of the cup drivers in opened wheel, they too would be getting their doors blown off. Plus the good ole boys hate names that most can not pronounce and they will do their damndest to make sure they are not up front for long.:hit:
