Hey guys.

I am tuning my 06 coupe with SCT and just have a few questions.

I will be spraying a 150 soon and been reading many people spraying a 150 with full exhaust, intake and stock PCM.

I noticed that the stock ecu timing is very low in the midrange and about 30* of advance near redline. I am not familiar with the Viper motor but man that is alot of timing for a 150 shot and 93 octane! How safe is this?

Also on the same note, around how much timing can you add in the midrange safely? The SCT does not have knock sensor control, it seems it uses the IAT sensor to retard timing and add fuel. So is the only way to see knock is the old fashion way of listening to the engine? These things are so loud it's tough to hear on the street!

I will properly tune the timing table on the dyno but I wanted a rough area so I know I have headroom.

Thanks!
