Im thinking of putting a stock air box back in the car and using the K&N smooth tube setup. The car currently has the Belanger intakes it had when I purchased it. Im thinking of taking them off bacause, I really dont see where it could gain any power by using the hot engine air (I know it gets a little cool air from the Naca but still) instead of cool out side air at the naca duct. Do you guys think Ill lose any power by switching back?

I'm not so sure there aren't some gains with some aftermarket intakes. Maybe not measured on a dyno but on the track. I know of a reputable Viper tracker that has an intake that tapers from the filter to the hose rather than the squared design of the stock intake. He claims it gives him a couple more mph on long straights. If I had pics of each you would see what I mean.
