It was local kid who works for my neighbor. My neighbor had him do it for me without going through the company, so he did it for cheap as hell and did a great job. Cost me $275 for him to do the whole thing, which was over 650 ft of crown.

That's cheap, usually $8-10 a cut. Did it come black or did you paint it?

I painted it before he put it up. I bought some good black spray-paint with the adjustable nozzle (so it actually sprays in a fan pattern, not just a random spray). It's actually been stacked in my garage for a few weeks waiting. Here are some closer pics of some of the joints. He used black caulk to fill in any spaces. You can see the contrast of the caulk to the gloss paint when the flash hits it, but it looks great in person. The high ceilings don't hurt either. :)

Just opened the door and snapped this shot of mine getting a little color after the second high lift opener was installed last week to make room for the second 4 post. Floor gets acid stained next week.

Where do you get that Viper lettering ? Is that self adhesive or a stencil or something ?

I had it made at a sign company, it's a vinyl self adhesive graphic. Once it was positioned you peel off the back, lay it down carefully and then peel off the front mask.
It 10' long believe it or not, the "V" is 26". Worked out really well and relatively easy install.
I cut the letters in sections so it was easier to handle, but the tape on top acts as a hinge so they stay positioned and spaced correctly

The first coat of acid stain just went down on the floor. The guy at the paint store whiffed on mixing the trim color so the staors and window trim will need to be repainted.

I am placing my vote that Tom B should be banned from posting any further pictures!
I don't think I've been that jealous (of the garage AND what's in it) in a long time!

Oh how times have changed! The posted that originally had these cars as high valued tokens to achieve, now is just the opposite. Without a higher education you may end up with old hoopties like thsese!
