Slate/Silver SRTC on ACR \"CHROMIES\"...

Ok, Jon, this should help you make your decision. I had to lower it; that plain and simple. ;)

I actually think the "silver" ones will look better the Chromies.

You did a pretty good job with them Austin, but they look a little "donut"ie Like the tires are like 60 profile instead of 30. Anyway to shrink down the rubber a bit, in that photo?

How about a photo of the car with the stock silver, non chromies?

Thx.

Jon

PS. Seriously, thanks for the work on this!!

Damn that looks good, but I agree the regular silver will be better than chrome.

If the real ACR wheels won't fit maybe something like a CCW SP20.

acr wheels will fit. i have gen-3 brakes on my gen-2 viper and my acr wheels fit fine with no spacers neeeded.

Anyone know which BBS wheel best match the ACR and what are the SRT-10 offsets? The BBS website doesn't show Viper fitment. TIA

Re: Slate/Silver SRTC on ACR \"CHROMIES\"...

What do you mean by best match?

Couple of things, prob knew but here goes:

1. ACR wheels are made by BBS
2. Only DODGE/Mopar can sell those Wheels, NOT BBS (due to an agreement between the two)
3. BBS LMs are the only BBS wheels I know off the top of my head that work on a Viper.
4. ACRs are the only gen 2 rims that I have heard work on the SRT-10 if you use the parking brake relocation kit. I will know for sure in about 1 week.

I guess you could measure the offset of your stock srt10 rim, and I can check my ACRs when they arrive.

Thanks for the info. I want an 18" / 19" set so I'm looking for something as close to the ACR as possible. The offsets when you get them would be appreciated.

Jon will you be lowering your coupe?

Yes and No. I did the NWE/JonB lowering Caps. So that drops it about 4/10 of an inch. Better then nothing, but not going to buy new shocks or anything of the sort, as its far too expensive. If there are other lowering options I'm game.
