I haven't found any place in SLC that sells 93. But the 91 generally doesn't have ethanol in it either.

My recommendation is to get the best quality fuel you can find - Chevron, Shell, Texaco around here - and see how it runs. My car is tuned near the edge at 93, so when I'm in UT I keep aware of possible knock.
If necessary, buy some good octane booster if you are forced induction.
The air there is hot and dry, so lots of O2 that is just waiting to detonate.

I'm bringing a NA car but I will be at the track on Thursday.
MMS has 91 and 100.
I can always top off with the 100

I have an SCT with a 91 and 93 octane setting.
Guess I'll experiment...

Acutally at 4000+ feet there isnt as much oxygen as down lower so your octane requirements are lower there is less air up there. Most every with a tune I suspect lives lots lower than Salt Lake City so the car will run differently in SLC
