\"Snake Gripper\" versus \"First Strike\"

Any opinions on MGW LTD's shifter knobs?
http://www.mgwltd.com/viper.html

I'm looking to change stock to a shorter shifter. The Snake Gripper is shorter, but perhaps it's too short? The First Strike knob I believe is newer and it's also $10 more expensive, but does that make it better? that is the question!

Also, does MGW LTD sell shorter stick shafts as well? I don't see this on their website.

If you own either of these, give me your opinion. Or even if you don't have one but maybe have seen one or the other.

Thanks.

Re: \"Snake Gripper\" versus \"First Strike\"

I've got both the Gripper and the First Strike. The Gripper is lower. The First Strike is a better track knob. George has a knob which isn't on his website yet. It's called the Enduro. I have this one on my car now. You can see it at www.mgwltd.com/vnrace1.jpg www.mgwltd.com/vnrace3.jpg I like the Enduro better than the other two. It's about the same size as the First Strike. Comes either polished or satin. Your choice of snake head or 6 speed logo. It's $65.00. You won't be disappointed with any one you choose.
