I have a couple of questions for anyone who might have put in (or seen) the wireless control Snake Oyl cruise system installed on their SRT-10 Viper.

1. It appears that the firewall grommet (or bellows) must be cut to get the wiring and actuator cable into the interior of the car. Is there some way to get the wires in without cutting that grommet? I can't even get the dull end of a tooth brush through it and it appears solid and tightly bound to the main harness. I can feel the grommet from both sides of the firewall and I see no way though it without punching a small hole through it.

2. The actuator cable looks like it will have a rather severe bend where it connects with the gas pedal bracket. It shows a rather severe angle in the instructions. Did anyone make a bracket to mount to the gas pedal bracket to make the throttle pull straighter?

I can't imagine a "professional" installer taking the time to put this system in correctly.
