So which Optima Battery goes in 03-06?

red but i would go with a diehard plat series i had optima in my diablo and was not happy with it.

Red top 78 from what I was told..... JonB, Chuck, Mark can you confirm?

Yellow top is the deep cycle version and the D34 or 34/78 is the size for '03 - '06 (I have the 34/78). The Red Top is for starting only and is not suitable for accessory loads (radio, AC, etc.). Go to the Optima website and read all about them.

Who made the OE battery that came in my '01? When I bought the car in 12/06 it was still cranking strong, and I only replaced it a few months later just because. With an Interstate :tx:

Interstate and Diehard are both manufactured by the same company that makes Optima (Johnson Controls). Optima offers a three-year full replacement warranty as well.

Yellow if you have a lot of electronic accessories (custom stereo, etc.), red for starting with high compression, superchargers, etc.
