Viper Owner
***Attention SoCal Drag Racers – Fontana Drags Nov 5th***
Several of us SoCal Viper folks are once again renting the Fontana Dragstrip on November 5th (Friday) and would like to again announce this invitation to all Viper owners who would like to participate at the drags. Will be private, limited to no more than 70 entrants, and only $100. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.
Each racer should get at least a dozen or more runs in, compared to only about three on those crowded street legal drags day. Dragstrips are also getting harder to participate due to the recent closures...here’s your chance.
Good News for RT and SRT-10 owners: You can now participate without a rollbar. Yes, that’s right! Before, if you ran a 13.99 or quicker, a rollbar was required on convertibles. But now, as long as you meet the new NHRA “Pure Stock” (not “Pro” Stock) rules and do not breakout the time of 11.49, you can run in this class. This new rule takes manufacturer safety into account. You are limited to a few minor mods such as a catback exhaust, K&N’s and even DOT drag radials. A helmet (Snell SA-2000) will be required. RT owners, don’t forget to bring your tops and side windows as this is a requirement. See more “Pure Stock” rules here:

We've got a number of Vipers and other sports cars already signed-up. SPACES ARE FILLING UP VERY QUICKLY, SIGN UP SOON BEFORE IT’S FILLED UP!!! Again, PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED, NO SAME DAY SIGN-UPS. Come join us for some fun and hope to see you there!
