Hey all,
I'm curious as to what the second rocker switch on the GenI console is for?
The left rocker switch is for the foglights, but I can't figure out what the
right rocker switch controls (it's marked for some kind of light), and it's
not in the manual...
Also, how does one remove/unbolt the seats? Are there any popular replacement
seats (Momo? Sparco? Corbeau???)

Thanks!

The laser guns in the headlights LOL.

As far as I know it's just an extra switch for what ever you'd like to use it for.

I heard the same description as Ron states. A rear mounted light on a Canadian or some export model viper. Switch is not on the gen ii's.....

As I remember it was for European rear fog light

Bingo.

BUX Vipers (Euro Export) had this wired to display rear facing brighter RED taillights diring fog.

Of course Jon Brittanica hit the nail on the head.

The other use for this is to wire it (delicate procedure) to your garage door clicker, and then hide the
clicker behind the knee kick panel. (whatever that int panel is properly called, its below the glove box
and comes off with 5 screws (at least on Gen I's).

Confirmed.
I just pulled my whole interior and noticed that switch is not connected to anything.

Great! Could you now confirm that the motor contains a camshaft by taking apart the engine? :)

Yes, I believe the are instructions in the "How To" , Illustrated Updates, on how to wire the switch to your garage door opener. I did mine long ago; the opener is then behind the right "kick Panel", out of sight. Rock the switch forward and the garage door goes up/down. This switch is not a momentary rocker, so you must return it to the off position (rock back).

Hey guys,
Thanks for the information. It was just kinda weird to see the marked switch there, and not know what it did; I'm surprised they didn't just put a blank it there. I think
I'm going to have to label it as "Ejector Seat" or something. Maybe have it wired to one of the Bass rumbler
seat things; would probably really wake up the passengers... ;)

Speaking of this switch,

Does anyone happen to have an extra one they would like to sell me cheap? Mine broke and I have it hooked up to my strobe lights.

Thanks,
ED
