Somerville, NJ - Cruise & Dinner July 25th

There will be a Viper get together on 7/25 with a rain date of 8/1.

Dinner will be at Il Pomadoro. (Optional)

All Viper owners and kids are welcome to attend.

We will meet at the Bridgewater Commons Mall parking area lot 6
on the South end of the mall by Macy's and leave there at 5:45
to drive to Main Street in Somerville.
We have the PRIVATE "Snake Pit" parking area reserved on Main St.

An RSVP for dinner is needed by 7/18.

I will be there(two of us). Here is some details about dinner:
Il Pomodoro was rated ***1/2 by the Star Ledger. It is a two minute walk from the Snake Pit.
Dinner wil include,
Antipasto Misto course-a sampling of all of the favorites.
Baby greens salad.
Pasta course.
Choice of the following entrees:
1)Filet of sole-stuffed with crabmeat and asparagus spears finished with a citrus sauvignon blanc sauce with artichoke hearts and roasted peppers.
2)Tenderloin of pork-tender pork wrapped around proscuitto, fontina cheese, granny smith apples, baked with a sun dried cranberry apple jack brandy sauce.
3)Boneless chicken ******-pan seared with a whole peeled plum tomato, fresh basil and a touch of roasted garlic sauce finished with homemade melted fresh mozza.
4)Veal Quattro fungi-tender scaloppini of veal sauteed with portobello,crimini, shitake, and porcini mushrooms in a cabernet sauce.
5)Rigatoni-tossed together with grilled vegetables with fresh herbs in a light extra ****** olive oil and garlic sauce.
Assorted homemade family style desserts.
Coffee and tea.
All for 32.95 PP plus tax and gratuity. WOW!!!

We are the only two confirmed on this site. We have other people, Lou, Tony, Bob
who said that they will be there. Can you do a broadcast E-mail to our membership? I would like to see, and I do believe that we will get, at least 12
Vipers and 25 people.

What is the status of this event? I have a son who is 13 and loves Vipers.....would attend just for the ability to let him get a good view of them...How many are attending thus far or is this a private affair......??????

As of Wednesday, 07-23, we have 14 Vipers coming. We also have 22 people for dinner. The weather looks real good for Friday. I will see you at Bridgewater Commons Mall around 5:30.

Man what a great event! I went to see the vipers at bridgewater and man was it so cool to see them pulling in.My family said I couldn't go to the dinner because it was viper owners only.Anyhow we went to fuddruckers and from there Sommerville.I guess Sal's(I think it's Sal's)lambo was getting all the looks! There was easily 20 vipers and there where also 2 prowlers.BTW if anybody wanted to know who the kid was with the GTS/R in the lot that was me.
