I picked up a ’02 GTS and it came with the Speed Lingerie bra and mirror covers. It seems to be of high quality so I am thinking of keeping it instead of a clear bra. My only concern is it rubbing through the paint from the wind. Anyone with a SL bra have it rub through the paint?

Have one on my car for the last 6 years 20k miles, no paint issues. If you get caught in the rain or a dusty road, best to remove it and hose the backside to remove any grit or sand. Other than that.....the front of my car looks like the day it came of the assembly line thanks to the SL bra. Strangely enough, I get a lot of compliments on it as well...

I have the SL bra and it works great and has not caused any issues with the paint. My only complaint is putting it on is a major workout. SL recently gave me a new method so I am anxious to see if it is any easier.

Let's put it this way. You have hooked up with one of the most beautiful, curvaceous bodies in the world. Do you make her wear a black vinyl sports bra that covers her up, or give her a clear bra to wear? She'll do what YOU want, you know. Did you get the car because it looks good covered up that way?

Well, the bra matches the car (red with with stripes). So, I'm more concerned with protection then looks.

I would only use one for long trips and even then I would use tape underneath where the edge hits the paint.

Actually, on a Gen 1 the Bra can look good...if you have the soft top , soft windows, black badging, black cowl, black windshield pillars...and both the hood bra and front fascia bra (both shined up)...doesn't look half bad.

A Gen1 with Softtop = :crazy2:
Gen1 with softwindows = :crazy2:
Any car with a Bra = :crazy2:

The more tacky/fugly stuff you add to a car the worse it looks. Not better.
