I run the reds on our house car and have had zero problems. I am going to look into the Porterfields.

Just to confirm, go with Porterfield R4-S pads! I just swapped my EBC greens with them. I was getting tired of the dust generated by the EBCs since EBC changed the compound of the pad. The Porterfields exibit almost no dust and no noise.

For those interested, I received a reply from EBC regarding the increased dust of the later greens compared to the greens of a couple years ago. They said the compound was changed because 1 in 10 customers were complaining of shimmying.

This is why they "shimmy"

Me.... light on the brakes. Some hard stops help but, it comes back. Stay stock.

I must admit that the red stuff ebc pads were put on back in 10/09/2004. From what you are saying, about them changing the compound, I do believe I will be switching to Porterfields R4-S Pads.
