As I was waiting for my car to go on the dyno, Wayne's yellow Lethal Viper (from all the magazines) was on the dyno doing some adjustments. All I can say is WOW. Just installed a new supercharger and was running somewhere above 700 horses without even running past 4400 rpms. Never heard a 10 cylinder motor sound so good!!

But for the results of my car:

Apex motorsports in San Jose ran 4 pulls for me on their Dynojet 248. Car had 3700 miles and had the K&N's installed. 4 pulls from 2000 rpms: 1st 431, 2nd 436, 3rd 441 and the final @ 442.6 and 466.8 torque!! Nice to see some good numbers!! Thanks DC for all the smiles!!

I just had my Viper dynoed at Apex a couple weeks ago and got a similar 437HP/462TQ numbers after just putting in a VEC1 (I had other breathing mods already as well).

I'll be doing a few more mods coming up, and revisit Apex's dyno again in a few weeks to get everything dialed in.
It's good to get baseline power number to see how much (or little) power each modification actually adds.

The Lethal monster must sound amazing!

Just dyno'd my bone stock SRT-10 today. I got a corrected 437 rwhp and 466 rw torque.

If you do the math figuring DC was right on with rating it as 500 HP at the crank, then my 437 rwhp equates to a 12.6% drivetrain power loss, and 11.2% using torque figures. If you assume the standard 15% drivetrain loss for a manual, then it works out to 514 Crank HP and 548 Ft-Lb of Torque - bone stock. Not too shabby!! But most impressive is how FLAT the torque curve is from 2000 to 5000 RPM!
