Does someone know if the stripes on a 2001 GTS are painted on or are they decals? 
I read in a book by M.Liang that they are decals under clearcoat paint.However, on my original window sticker, there is a charge for $3,000 for painted stripes, leading me to believe they are painted on.Reason for asking is that I can definitely see evidence of them being painted on the rear bumper section.Thanks.....
