tapping into the Viper\'s computer

Here's a question for the real pros....
Is there any way to tap into the computer's data stream (rpm, o2 sensor voltage, manifold pressure, H2O temp, battery voltage, etc.) so that I can record that info. on a laptop while driving? I am doing this with my Edelbrock fuel injection system on my old Camaro. That way I can record useful information and also calculate instantaneous effective and true horsepower. It's pretty easy with that system because they use an RS-232 output to the calibration module (I hacked the data stream and then wrote a program to record and manipulate the data).
Is there a connector or data bus somewhere that can be used to do the same on a Viper?
TIA

Re: tapping into the Viper\'s computer

Hello,

I use this one here. Writing some custom software to log performance data on Linux. OBD is ok, but it does have problems if you are collecting a lot of data.
