Thought this was kind of cool. Chrysler is giving it's high mileage members license plate frames reflecting your mileage milestones in 100,000 increments.

At every 100,000 miles, if you contact Chrysler Group Customer Care in the U.S. with your name, address and the vehicle identification number (VIN), we'll send you a thank you letter and a pewter license plate bracket (above) with the mileage milestone you achieved.

The only stipulations are that you currently own the vehicle, be the first or second owner of it, and you must have owned the vehicle for at least one year.

My dodge ram truck hit 300k miles right before I sold it. 5.9 diesel was a great engine. It trailered to many VOI's without a problem.

2nd owner of a 98 Dakota with 85k on it. I have a little bit of work to do. My 68 R/T is at 129k, but more than the 2nd owner.

That's a pretty cool idea. I wouldn't want a pewter license plate bracket on a new vehicle but if it has 200k or more... that would suddenly be cool. :2tu:
