After reading he various posts regarding the ongoing wax wars, I decided to purchase a bottle of Meguires NXT.
I tried it yesterday and immediately put it to The Baltimore Test. For those of you who are uninformed, this was developed in Baltimore in the 1960's to authenticate the quality of a car wax. Succinctly, a common housefly (pedis stickius) is captured and its wings removed. Since houseflys are not on the endangered species list, there will be no repercussions from PETA.
The wingless fly is then placed on an inclined surface (49 degrees has been shown to provide the most valid data).
If the fly slips on his ass, the product has passed the test.
Meguires NXT passed with flying (please excuse the pun) colors........
