PPLLEEAASSEEEEEEE DO THIS! Now the Viper is just a car, nothing more if you proceed with the coupe concept.

Bobk hit it on the head. It is amazing they don't realize that a CC based GTS would get the press in an uproar and leap off the showroom floor. I don't like the concept coupe one bit. I will probably be saving up for an ACR.

Unfortunately, DCX is too cheap to do any of the stuff you want. They want to reuse the front clip of the SRT-10 on the coupe in its entirety so they don't have to incur any redesign costs on the doors, fenders, hood or fascia. Also, the front end has already passed crash testing further saving them money.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see the Viper get a sexier skin, but I just don't see DCX spending the money on it for another couple of years.
