This has to be uninformed BS. The Viper may be many things but a shop queen isn't one of them. Do they eat gas? yes, but no more than an SUV. Shop time for Vipers usually means mod time. I consider mine to be bullet proof.
I wonder where they got their numbers; I would be interested in their line items.

Yeah, that's full of crap.

No doubt the viper is expensive to repair. It's an exotic. But that's quite an assumption that they all will need that much repair every year. That's just dumb.

If you are looking at some of the factors they have listed there then get a mini van.

Total BS. I've had 5 Vipers the past 10 years (2 currently), and haven't spent half that on repairs and maintenance, including warranty work.

It also noted that it was estimated at 15k miles/year for 5 years...uh, I know some of us put some miles on our cars, but I know a lot of guys who haven't even cracked 10k yet in these cars!
