I'm seriously considering a trunktop, three piece design. I did a search but did not find many opinions on the ease of use and lack of rattles, wind noise, etc. For those that have them please provide your thoughts. Should I get the integrated vent or not? Lastly, do you think I could sell my mopar hardtop and softtop and cover the ~$3200 price tag?

Thanks in advance,

Steve

I love mine. They are easy to use. Some squeaks because they fit tight and are talking about a Viper not a Volvo. The clearence is not as much, but it looks great. I do not have the vent. :)

It is difficult to use at first, because of all the new seals and just getting used to it. Now, I can take it off in about two minutes and put it on in about 5 minutes (I'm careful) Putting on a little petroleum jelly stops most of the squeaks and keeps the seals soft. I was told to avoid the vent as long as I had AC

Overall, if you live in a climate with constantly changing weather and don't want to keep the top on all of the time, I think it is a must. If I bought another RT, it would be my first purchase. I had mine fitted by Jeff, himself.:2tu:

Father has the trunktop on his Gen 1 and loves it. It is bette than the soft top and mopar top in every way including looks. Yes there is still some slight windnoise but thats reality with all the tops, and no the mopar top and soft top will not cover the 3200. One just sold on ebay used for 1900

Don't have one, but I saw one up close at Jeff's shop today. Nice looking units!
