BUMPity BUMP BUMP

Also with this bump...

How do any of use know smooth tubes and K&N filters are better than stock? Has anyone measured it on a dyno?

DC put the tubes/filters on the ACR's and says it is worth 10hp. I think everyone has accepted that and logically it makes sense. Less restriction=more air flow=more hp.

I have the S&B filters from ROE. Probably not much difference in those vs. K&N vs the ones you got.......who knows.

Gotta say, I'd go with K/N. DC uses them, as has been noted. One problem with any aftermarket air filter tends to be people clean them and re-oil them, getting a little too much oil maybe, then the MAF is oily and outta whack.
No more than I drive, I doubt if I'd bother cleaning my K/N - just get a new pair every 15K or so.
