I have read the book about the timing chain measurements to be sure it is within spec, but want to be sure I am doing it right. The car is a 98 totally stock with 11k miles, and when measuring the 'slop' in the chain, do you measure total chain travel or just one way from center (say towards driver push and measure or towards passenger, or total from one extreme to the other) Thanks in advance!
