Hello, I just became a Viper owner. I bought a 94 and am wondering what is the best tire pressure to run. The owners manual say's 35psi and the tires say max 45 to 55psi. I just bought 98 RT/10 wheels and tires with 1600 miles on them and want to get the best life and performance out of them. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I like to run 35 psi on the street and track. I tried different settings at Button Willow and found 35 gave the best traction without pushing. As for tire life, If your not burning them up your not having fun yet! You should get around 12k out of a set if you do a little track and auto cross time. 20k+ street only.
Good luck!

DO NOT inflate Pilot sports over 29 pounds on the street - you will wear out the center of the tire real quick.

At 29 you have all the grip you need.

Track settings - depends on the track but rule of thumb is 40 pounds hot. This results in each wheel having a different pressure cold - make sure you reset before any long drive home from the track.
